Pep Guardiola makes Eric García's signing official

It was an open secret. Eric García, one of Barça's most promising youth players, has left the club and signed for Manchester City. However, neither the two clubs nor the player himself had made an official announcement.
Until Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager made the signing official on Monday. Guardiola was taking part in the campus organised by the company that represents him, Media Base Sports, in El Montanyá.
Speaking to TV3, Guardiola spoke openly about the signing of Eric García. "We had very good references but I haven't had the chance to see him play. I have been told very good things about him and the chance of signing him opened up. He wanted to make the move and the club have given him the chance", he explained.
