Danger: Messi could miss the final of the Copa del Rey 2016 / 2017
Lionel Messi was once again the star as Barcelona beat Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday.
Messi scored Barça's second goal in a 2-1 win to ensure his side have the advantage going into the second leg at Camp Nou next week.
However, as well as scoring a goal, leading the team and almost scoring a free-kick, Messi was also in the spotlight for picking up a yellow card.
It happened in the 89th minute for a foul on Filipe Luis and it could yet have consequences.
That's because it's the second booking he's received in the Copa del Rey this season, meaning a third booking next week would rule him out of the final if Barça progress.
Samuel Umtiti and Jordi Alba are also in the same situation -- all three players will have to be careful.
Remember that Neymar was booked, too, and will miss the second leg through suspension.
