Pedro: "Clubs are interested in me, but I will decide later"

Competing in the same team as three forwards like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez is not easy.

But it's what Pedro Rodriguez has to do.

The tough competition that he has means he has not had as many playing minutes as he would like, so he has to take advantage of the opportunities he does get.

One of those came on Wednesday night against Almeria: Starter and 90 minutes.

"I'm happy because it has been a while since I started a game," he said after the 4-0 win.

"I want to help my teammates and bring things to the team. It was difficult in the first half, but after that we were better in the second period."

In recent games, the play of the team has not been as good as previously, provoking debate and even criticism from some.

"We don't understand those that criticise our play, but the public are very demanding, that is normal," Pedro added.

Next up is a difficult trip to Sevilla on Saturday. "It will be a difficult game, one of the most complicated that we have left," the 27-year-old said.

And finally, on his personal situation, he reiterated that "it is a difficult time for me, but I have to have patience and at the end of the season I will decide what I do.

"I know that there are clubs interested in me and that is very flattering, but we will evaluate things in the summer."

Liverpool are one of the clubs to have been linked with Barça forward, although they will face a lot of competition if he does decide to leave Catalonia.
