Paulinho has justified the cost of his transfer

Paulinho has turned the tables on his critics quickly with a rapid adaptation to life at Barcelona. The midfielder started against Olympiakos and had another good game, pleasing his coach Ernesto Valverde. 

The midfielder hasn't needed a lot of time to show his quality, his power and grit help him along with his ability to join the attack and he moved into those positions comfortably against Olympiakos as well as helping win the ball back. He's a player who covers a lot of ground and that always helps.

Against Olympiakos he just lacked a little luck going forward. He scored but the goal was ruled offside and he also hit the bar, as well as seeing a shot saved in the second half.

Paulinho has won over the fans, his coach and his team-mates. Now nobody doubts the 40m Barcelona spent on him and it's all of his own merit.
