Valverde has left Aleix Vidal out for the second game running

Jordi Alba has joined Ousmane Dembele & Rafinha on the injury list

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has confirmed his squad for the game against Olympiakos on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Jordi Alba is not in the 18 due to a late thigh injury, while Aleix Vidal has been left out as Paco Alcacer returns to the 18-man squad.

The players called up by Valverde are: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Semedo, Pique, Rakitic, Busquets, Denis Suarez, Iniesta, Luis Suarez, Messi, Mascherano, Paulinho, Deulofeu, Paco Alcacer, Digne, Sergi Roberto, Andre Gomes and Umtiti.

There's just one change in respect to the squad for the Atletico game, with Alba getting injured on Tuesday during training and Alcacer taking his place.

It's the first time since Sept. 23, when Barça played Girona, that Alcacer has been called up, although he did not feature on that day.

However, there's no place for Vidal, who has now been left out of the squad for both games since the international break.
