Sakari Orava has not ruled out Dembele featuring in the Clasico

Good news for Ousmane Dembele. The doctor who operated on the forward, Sakari Orava, has explained to La Graderia on Cadena SER that the player's recovery is going better than expected.

"The recovery is going quicker than expected. He already said he wanted to come back before the planned date, but we don't know if that will be possible," Orava said.

And Orava has not ruled out Dembele playing in the Clasico against Real Madrid on Dec. 23. It seems unlikely given the demands, but it will depend on how things go. "Could he play against Madrid? Maybe, maybe... but I can't assure you of anything," he added.

Dembele's working hard to come back as soon as possible and it's hoped that this month he will be back with the ball at his feet.

"Right now he is training in the sandpits that Barça have and I think that in the middle of November he'll be able to touch a ball again," Orava said.
