Barcelona are wondering if they should change tack when Luis Enrique leaves in the summer and the defeat against Juventus is a black mark against Juan Carlos Unzue.
The club want to hire someone with Barcelona DNA and Oscar Garcia has entered the race to coach the side next season. Ernesto Valverde, of Athletic, is another option but Oscar Garcia is also being considered. He is a name that would unite Barcelonismo.
The squad would not be unhappy with him as coach, as someone young, formed at Barcelona and with experience internationally.
The decision over who will coach the team will not be taken until this season’s sporting objectives are settled. The next week could be revealing.
