According to the El Transistor show, Barcelona have won the race to sign the left-back

They believe Jordi Alba may be loaned to Atletico next season with Theo coming in at Camp Nou

Barcelona have beaten Real Madrid to the signing of Atletico Madrid star Theo Hernandez, who is on loan at Deportivo Alaves, according to Onda Cero.

On the programme El Transistor, it was claimed that although Theo was close to a deal with Real Madrid, he has changed his mind and decided to move to the Catalan giants. Part of his reasoning being that it would be viewed as betrayal to leave Atletico for their arch-rivals.

Theo’s arrival could see Jordi Alba leave on loan, say the radio station. Alba has been a starter for Barcelona for several years abut has become a rotation player under Luis Enrique.

According to Jose Ramon de la Morena, Barcelona would try and arrive at a deal to loan Alba to Atletico Madrid next season.
