Official: Munir also extends Barça contract by three years

Barça and forward Munir El Haddadi have reached an agreement over the renewal of the player's contract until June 2019.

The release clause in the Spaniard's deal is set at 60 million euros with all parties involved holding a formal meeting on Tuesday where the contracts were signed. He will now join the first team for pre-season ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

Munir reaffirms his continuing development with the Catalan club and has consolidated his place in Luis Enrique's squad, with former team-mate and youngster Sandro Ramirez already departed for Malaga this summer.

Barça's current no.17 made 26 appearances last season and scored eight goals, helping the club to win the league and Copa del Rey double.
