Official: Barcelona confirm deal to bring Denis Suarez back from Villarreal
Barcelona have confirmed that Denis Suarez will return to the club from Villarreal in a deal worth 3.25 million euros.
The midfielder, who made his international debut for Spain last month, will sign a four-year deal, with the option for a fifth year depending on his participation during the fourth season of his contract.
His release clause has been set at 50 million euros and he will undergo a medical on Tuesday afternoon.
Plans are then in place for him to be presented to the media at Camp Nou on Wendesday, with the general public also granted access to the stadium for a photo shoot following the press conference.
Suarez joined Barcelona in 2013 from Manchester City and spent the 2013/14 campaign in the Barça B side.
He then spent a season on loan at Sevilla, before being sold to Villarreal last summer with a buy-back option included.
Following an impressive season at El Madrigal - playing 48 games, scoring five goals and creating 11 more - Barça have decided to exercise their right to re-sign the 22-year-old.
A talented midfielder, Suarez can also play wide in a front three and will provide cover for Luis Enrique in a number of positions.
