Nobody has set up more Lionel Messi goals than Dani Alves

Nobody has set up more Lionel Messi goals than Dani Alves

Like a dancing couple on the grass, Dani Alves and Lionel Messi have a perfect understanding

In their seven seasons together at Barcelona -- the Brazilian arrived at Camp Nou in 2008 -- Alves has assisted 37 of the 359 goals Messi has scored wearing a Barça shirt.

That is more than any other player has created for the Argentine in his professional career.

Xavi Hernandez (32) and Andres Iniesta (30) are his closest rivals.

This season, they have already written another chapter in their history.

The fourth goal in the recent win over Granada, which Alves placed on Messi's head, was another example of a perfect dance.

And even without Messi, Alves' attacking style has helped Barcelona a lot in recent times.

The 31-year-old has assisted a total of 78 goals while playing for the club, with 55 of them coming in la Liga -- he has also starred in the Champions League (11), Copa del Rey (7), Supercopa (2) and World Club Cup (3).

He has consolidated his role as one of the best right-backs in the world with these figures, but has also been impressive defensively.

Alves is, without doubt, the perfect partner for Messi.
