The French club have already turned down an offer from Roma

Neither PSG nor Barcelona have made an offer to Nice yet

Jean Michael Seri's name is one of the most talked about on the European football market this summer. The Nice midfielder is in fashion and various clubs are interested in signing him. Among them is Barcelona and the president of the French club has been speaking about the matter.

In quotes to Radio Montecarlo, Nice chief Jean-Pierre Rivere has set out his cards. "We have one wish and that is to keep Jean Michael. We don't want to sell and we don't need to sell, but some players will come and others go.

"Seri? The press are saying a lot of things. As far as we are concerned, aside from Roma who firmed up their interest but were told that their offer was not big enough, there have been no offers from other clubs."

With talks of PSG and Barça's interest, though, Rivere almost invited an offer from the two clubs: "We know that he is speaking with other teams -- his agent has been transparent enough about that. But they have not declared their interest to us."

We will have to see how things develop. In Italy they're reporting that Roma will increase their offer for Seri, who has been one of the stars of the season in the French league. As is always the case in football, though, whoever wants to sign the 25-year old will have to let their money do the talking.
