Neymar victimised by Atletico Madrid with Gabi and Simeone hunting him at half-time

We know that Atletico Madrid's Gabi was sent off at half-time against Barcelona amid chaos which began just before the interval, but now SPORT can reveal more about what happened. 

Within the tunnel area there was pushing, shoving, accusations and insults. The victim of most of them was Neymar, who was an easy target for the Atletico Madrid players. 

Specifically, captain Gabi picked on the Brazilian, who tried to escape, but then Diego Simeone joined in. 

The Brazilian responded with only a smile, which enraged Atletico Madrid's men further. 

Rojiblanco players tried to corner him, despite the security presence watching on, but Gerard Pique intervened and swiftly guided Neymar to the Barcelona changing room.
