Neymar speaks to SPORT about his aims for 2015, Barça's Brazilians and much more

Neymar enters the room. He's dressed in mustard trousers, a dark jacket and wearing a cap. He's just finished training for Barcelona's match against Cordoba. Neymar takes care of his image.

He arrives alongside his press officer, Eduardo Musa, and the Blaugrana's Brazilian representative, Andre Cury. "You have 15 minutes," they advise. All hands to the pump. Six for photographs and nine for for the questions.

Neymar is as professional off the pitch as he is on it. For a Brazilian, work finishes when they leave the Ciutat Esportiva. Never before.

----------------------------------------------

Buenos dias, you've been passed fit.

Yes, I've had the all clear.

Ready for Cordoba?

Yes, we're almost at our best for the game.

With 2015 close, how was 2014 been? A little irregular for you?

It's been a year of learning because a lot has happened with Barcelona and Brazil. I think this year will always be marked in my life.

Positively or negatively?

Both... Because the injury I had in Brazil was one of the worst moments of my life. For that reason there have been good things and bad things.

What's clear is you've not stopped growing as a footballer since you arrived. Are you satisfied with you performances?

I think I can do a lot more, that I can play a lot better. I've started the season well, but I want more.

That means you can still explode?

I try to always enjoy myself...

I'm referring to if you have exploded as a footballer.

Ah, explode! I don't know, I don't know... What I want it to always be playing. I like to play, to be on the pitch, helping my friends, my teammates and enjoying it.

And you do enjoy things?

Yes. We have a team with a lot of quality, with players that are the best in the world. And I think that we are getting better all the time. All the time we understand each other more and I still hope we can do more together.

One of the keys to Barca is Messi. Is it easy or difficult to play with him?

For me, it's easy. To play with the best in the world is easy, it's always easy to play with the best players. It's and honour. When I watched him from Brazil he was my idol. Now I am close to him and I've been able to see everything is real, that he is one of the best.

What have you learned from him? What do you like most about Leo?

What I like most is how he can rule a game. He is always deciding games, always making goals. What Leo does on the pitch is spectacular.

As for you, how has Neymar changed since arriving from Brazil?

I'm not sure... The way of life is the same... But I feel more at home now, getting to know Barcelona better. I feel that Barca is my home. And for that reason I feel better as well, on and off the pitch.

People talk about you a lot, but nobody ever accuses you of hiding.

It's always been like that, since I was small. I've never hid, never stay behind anyone. If I'm bad, I go again to try and put things right in the place.

You must be strong mentally then.

Of course, I think I am stronger mentally than with the ball. If your head is in the right place, if it works well, things will naturally go well.

Have you told Suarez how your first year was?

Of course, the first year is difficult.

And there's nothing for him to worry about, then.

Suarez is a great player and the first year is one of adaption for everyone. For me, that I came from outside was more difficult, and I think he's also finding it difficult, but with time he will hit top form and score more goals.

It will be necessary to win titles. Have you imagined what it will be like to win titles with Barca?

Yes, I imagine it, of course.

To be fair, we're talking of a big title, because you won the Supercopa last year thanks to your goal at the Calderon.

For sure.

The Champions League is another story.

I think about it a lot. It's a dream that I've had since I was a boy. And of course, I imagine what it would be like to win it with Barca.

Can you see yourself in Berlin (venue for 2015 Champions League final)?

Yes, I see myself there. And I'll do everything to get there.

Well, Madrid aren't easing up this season...

They're a very good rival, with great players, the best in the world. And with a well-made team.

But...?

But I believe in my teammates, I have a lot of faith in this team. I think we can do more and I am sure we are going to go far in everything.

As in fighting for all three trophies?

Of course, that's why we play for Barca, to fight for everything, that is the objective every season.

Can you allow another season without a big title?

We don't think of that, only on continuing to grow, to play better all the time. We have a great squad and the capacity to win important titles. It would be a good way to say goodbye to Dani Alves' era at the club. For me he is a friend.

You think he'll leave in the summer?

I think that... I like to have my friends close and Alves is a friend. What I'm clear about is that I would like him to stay in Barcelona, but I don't know... I don't know what will happen, but I hope he stays.

They say that a dressing room with Brazilians is always more fun. Do you share that view?

Yes, that's true! Brazilians enjoy every day. We are always laughing; always joking. We're like that, we have that way of being and we live football with happiness. We are here to enjoy it.

And to create enjoyment.

Of course. If we are having fun, I think that we all transmit that to the people.

Dani Alves is No.1 in that aspect.

For that reason I like to have him close; for that reason I hope that he stays.
