Neymar and PSG agreed the details of the player’s transfer without Barça knowing a lot earlier tan was reported according to the Brazilian newspaper Correio da Manhá (‘CM’). The newspaper reports that Neymar finalised the agreement with PSG in June and not in August as they wanted the Barça directors to believe.
CM has had Access to a “highly confidential” document, dated 30 June, which proves that PSG’s directors had already finalised the operation to bring the Brazilian star to Paris by that date.
According to CM’s information, the details of the plane that would take Neymar and his advisors, a total of 7 people, to Paris were given in this document. It also detailed the device the security staff would use at the unveiling and predicted the presence of 500 journalists.
Correio da Manhá explains that “the whole operation was planned as if Neymar were a head of state”, in line with the fact that the transfer was a “world record”. The Portuguese Antero Henrique, PSG’s new sporting director, was the person responsible for the file that detailed all the details of the spectacular transfer.
The report also says that several people at PSG questioned the fact that six businessmen (Pini Zahavi, Marcelo Simoniam, Juan Figer, Wagner Ribeiro, Mohamed Afzal and Humberto Paiva) as well as the player's father were entitled to commission on the deal and that none of them are French.
