Neymar says Barcelona stamped their style on PSG clash

Neymar hailed the way Barcelona played against Paris Saint-Germain as they progressed to the last four of the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Brazilian bagged both the goals in a 2-0 win at Camp Nou, taking his tally to five goals in just four matches against the French champions in the competition this season.

"We've done exactly as we did in Paris," Neymar said to TVE after the game. "We played our football, stamped our style on the game and scored goals. That's what was important.

"It was a great performance and I congratulate all the players and the team for the way we have played."

Andres Iniesta' slaloming run — which Neymar called "fantastic" — past three PSG players created the first half goal for Barça's No.11 and the second arrived via a Dani Alves cross.

The 23-year-old now has 30 goals in all competitions this season, however he is happier with how things are going for the team right now, rather than gloating about individual feats.

"I am happy with how the season is going because we are still in all three competitions," he continued. "But we have to continue as we are doing. We are in a great moment in the Champions League, are top of La Liga and we must continue this way."

Once again he was asked about his reaction to being taken off in Seville, describing it as "history", before being questioned about his thoughts on Friday's draw.

"Everyone left is strong," he responded, clutching Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shirt. "We have to beat whoever we play if we want to win the competition."
