Neymar reiterates he wants to play at Copa America AND Olympics

Neymar has arrived with Rafinha at the Brazil camp in the United States and has spoken about his desire to play for his country in 2016 at two tournaments. 

In statements reported by Globosport, he said: "I'm happy to be back with the national team. I'm going to meet my team-mates again and we will work to get good results."

Asked about his Copa America red card and subsequent suspension, he said: "It was an error I committed. I have no reason to be frustrated. I know where I failed and so I'm moving on and now must learn. It will serve as a lesson."

Speaking about 2016 he said: "Everyone knows my desire to play at the Copa America and then at the Olympics. My desire is this and I hope that the people can understand it and free me to make it so."

The Copa America is set to take place from June 3 to June 26 and the Olympics from August 3 to 20.

Neymar spoke about Barcelona and their game agianst Malaga. "I felt good, I surprised myself. It had been some time since I played. I was stopped for a while and it was hard to return to normality. I felt good and happy to play with my team-mates. 

"It was tough to watch the Spanish and UEFA Super Cups at home."
