Neymar left out of Barcelona's trip to Malaga after suffering hamstring pain

Barcelona trained for their game against Malaga with Neymar absent from the session. He arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva with a hamstring problem in his left leg, although after medical tests they discarded a muscular injury.

However, the Brazilian will not travel south, for Barcelona's clash at La Rosaleda on Saturday at 4pm.

The tests revealed there was no injury, but the player feels a disturbance and the technical body have decided to be prudent and leave him behind in barcelona.

Neymar is also on the verge of being suspended, with the Brazilian on four yellow cards. If he received a fifth, he would be unavailable to take on Atletico Madrid next week.

Neymar missed training last Monday too, after the game against Athletic Club. Messi, meanwhile, is training normally with his team-mates. He will go to Malaga with the squad and start, unless any new news occurs.
