Neymar Jr. tells SPORT he'd love to see Marco Verratti join Barcelona

Neymar Jr. has spoken about the possible signing of Marco Verratti, one of the players most wanted by Barcelona this summer. Speaking after an event for the Neymar Institute in Sao Paulo, he told SPORT: "Of course I would like [Verratti] to come to Barcelona, I would love it. He's a top player, a player with incredible technical quality."
Relaxed and with a smile on his face, Ney explained that the Italian international midfielder "has the profile and the right qualities to play with us at Barca."
According to Ney, "if [Barça] sign Verratti, I'm convinced that the whole team will receive him with a lot of happiness because he's an amazing player."
Ney's quotes at the Unique Hotel in Sao Paulo are the first from the MSN showing their desire to have Verratti, a player ideal for Barcelona's style, playing behind them next season.
The comments could also be seen as a sign of support from the Barcelona dressign room for Marco Verratti, who is having to force his exit from Paris Saint-Germain due to president Nasser Al-Khelaifi's reluctance to sell.
