Neymar had a meeting with Real Madrid, say Onda Cero

Neymar Jr and Real Madrid had a meeting in Zurich when the player was there for the Ballon d'Or gala, according to Al Primer Toque on Onda Cero radio.

They claim that Neymar and his father met with a Real Madrid representative, Andre Cury and Wagner Ribeiro. It seems unlikely Cury was at the meeting because he works for FC Barcelona. In Ribeiro's presence there is more reason, as he has a friendship with Florentino Perez.

Madrid insisted on having a brief meeting and Neymar accepted, although it was just protocol. On Ona Cero they say he is using Los Blancos to get better economic terms for his Barcelona contract renovation, while Neymar's people are informing Madrid he is interested in joining them.

The reality is that the Ballon d'Or doesn't seem a likely place, or a secret one, to have a meeting of this time. Neymar, furthermore, says he's happy at Barcelona and it's hard to hide the reality: The forward wants to triumph with the Blaugrana and Perez will find it tough to do anything about that.
