Munir hasn't ruled out playing for Morocco

Munir El Haddadi is the man of the moment after scoring on his Barcelona debut against Elche this past weekend and there looks set to be a battle for him at international level.

The Barça youngster has double nationality - Spain and Morocco - and is yet to decide who to play for.

Despite making his debut for Spain at U-19 level, Munir could still opt to play for Morocco and deprive la Roja of one of the most talented youngsters in football.

In an interview with 'Al Jazeera', the 18-year-old didn't rule out playing for Morocco in the future when journalist Achraf Ben Ayad asked him if he might play for the country where his parents were born. "Who knows," Munir answered.

Over at the RFEF they are hoping to call Munir up to Albert Celades' Spain U-21 team for the upcoming matches against Hungary and Austria.

However, until Munir debuts with the full national team in a competitive match he still has the right to switch to Morocco.

Ezaki Badou, the manager of the Moroccan national team, is attentive to the situation and is trying to convince the young Barça star that his future lies with the African nation.
