Monchi reveals Sevilla will not be making moves for Barça's Adriano or Montoya

Sevilla have ruled out signing either Martin Montoya or Adriano Correia from FC Barcelona this summer. 

Speaking at the presentation of Gael Kakuta, signed from Chelsea, Sevilla's sporting director Monchi revealed the reasons they will not be making a move for the Barça pair. 

"I've read in the press about Adriano, which has surprised both me and [the president] Jose Maria," he said. 

"He is a player that we have a lot of love for, but he is in another orbit [price wise]. [Fernando] Llorente is not a target either, nor is Montoya.

"They are players that we like, obviously, but they are not realistic objectives."

FC Barcelona are working on moving out some of the players who did not feature regularly during the treble-winning season. 

Both Montoya and Adriano will be free to leave Camp Nou for the right price.
