Milan weigh up a move for Barcelona's Aleix Vidal
Andrea Conti of Atalanta is also being considered by the Italian club
Vidal is currently recovering from an injury and his Barça future is unclear
According to 'Calciomercato', Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal is a target for AC Milan. The full-back is one of the options the club are considering, along with Atalanta's Andrea Conti.
Vidal has a deal with Barcelona until June 2020 and his release clause is 60 million euros. Due to his differences with Luis Enrique Martinez, he had been repeatedly linked with a move away from Camp Nou, possibly on loan.
However, the Catalan ended up winning back his manager's faith and earning a place in the first team when he suffered a serious ankle injury against Alaves, ending his season prematurely.
Vidal is still working on his recovery -- and is ahead of schedule -- while talk surrounds his future. With a new manager to take to the Barça bench, there will be no immediate decision on if the former Sevilla player has a place in the first team next season.
For Vidal it's important to know who the new manager is -- everything suggests it will be Ernesto Valverde -- as since signing for Barça he has lost his place in the Spain team and not played regular football.
It could be the best option to leave in order to get his career back on track and Milan may prove one of the better options he has, but time will tell.
