Barça's Lieke Martens is a finalists in the women's category

Madrid's Zinedine Zidane is a nominee in the coach's section

Leo Messi (FC Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) and Neymar Junior (PSG) are the three finalists for the The Best FIFA Men's Player of 2017, with the winner crowned on Oct. 23 at a ceremony at the London Palladium.

Messi and Cristiano were both shortlisted last year, too, while Neymar is making his first appearance on the podium. 

FIFA also revealed the nominees for the other various awards, with Zidane, Conte and Allegri in the running to be named the best men's coach of the year. 

Meanwhile, Barça's Lieke Martens has been included in the three nominees for The Best FIFA Women's Player.

Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), Masimiliano Allegri (Juventus) and Antonio Conte (Chelsea).

The Best FIFA Women's Coach

Nils Nielsen (Denmark), Gerard Precheur (Olympique Lyon/ France) and Sarina Wiegman (Holland).

Best Goakeeper

Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus/Italy), Keylor Navas (Real Madrid/Costa Rica) and Manuel Neuer (Bayern Múnich/Germany).
