Messi and Mascherano are now in Argentina ahead of Copa America
Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano are now in Argentina.
After leaving the Catalan city on Tuesday, the two Argentines have now joined up with their national team, which is coached by Gerardo Tata Martino, to prepare for the Copa America next month.
Messi uploaded a photo to his Instagram account along with his Barça team-mate, who could be close to signing for Juventus, from the trainings ground in Ezeiza, where Argentina are currently working for a couple of days.
Remember that Messi will take part in the friendly against Honduras in San Juan this Friday, with the squad set to travel to the game on Thursday. The first 15 minutes of Wednesday's session will be open to the press.
After the Friday's game, Messi plans to return to Barcelona for the court case regarding tax fraud.
Argentina, meanwhile, will then travel to Mendoza and from there to the United States, where the Copa America is taking part. Their first game is against Copa holders Chile in San Francisco.
