FC Barcelona are waiting to see if their clash with Las Palmas on Sunday will go ahead or not. Images of police charges at schools and colleges on voters for the Catalan indepdendence referendum have caused Barcelona chiefs, including president Josep Maria Bartomeu, to meet urgently to analyse the situation.

In a previous meeting it was decided the game would go ahead, but the latest incidents have provoked doubts. The game is set to kick-off at 4.15pm, but the club are waiting on secuity reports to see if the game will be suspended or go ahead.

Barcelona have also got in contact with La Liga to ask for their collaboration if the game needs to be suspended.
