Mascherano, Luis Suarez and Ter Stegen return to Barcelona training

They were the final three players to rejoin the squad after the recent international break

The presence of Javier Mascherano and Luis Suarez was the big news in Thursday's Barcelona training session. The first team trained at the Ciutat Esportiva in Sant Joan Despi as they continued their preparation for Saturday's game at Camp Nou against Deportivo La Coruna

The two players rejoined training after playing for their respective national teams this week, Argentina and Uruguay. Suarez was once again with Lionel Messi and Neymar -- even though it was a preparation session, the trident was once again back together.

Also back in training was German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has been away with his national team, too. However, the 24-year-old did not take part in any of his country's games during the break, with Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer preferred to the Barcelona stopper.

Luis Enrique also maintained some of the B team players: Marlon, Moises, Romera and Nili. The latter of that quartet has been touted as a possible alternative to Sergi Roberto, who was injured on international duty. In principle everything suggests Aleix Vidal will start, but nothing has been ruled out.
