Martin Odegaard travels to Barcelona after trips to Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern

Martin Odegaard's tour of Europe's biggest football clubs took the youngster to Barcelona on Friday, where he is expected to spend some time getting to know Barça a little bit better.

He only turned 16 this week, but has already trained with Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich this month, while many other teams have been credited with an interest in the Norwegian.

And his visit to Barcelona is just the latest stop on a trip which could end with him choosing his next club.

Odegaard has already made over 20 appearances, despite his young years, for his current club, Strømsgodset, and has been capped three times by Norway.

A lot is already expected of the teenager, but it's important too much isn't expected too soon.

He is expected to be present at Camp Nou on Saturday for Barça's game against Cordoba, giving him the chance to sample a typical match day in the Catalan capital.

'VG Sporten', a website in Norway, say he is keen to meet Lionel Messi, who is one of his idols.
