Martin Montoya: Joao Cancelo has Barcelona DNA
Former Barcelona player Martin Montoya spoke on Radio Marca. The now Valencia man thinks team-mate Joao Cancelo, also a right-back, would be perfect to play at Barcelona.
"Cancelo is a player with Barcelona DNA," he said. "He's an attacking player who goes forward very well, he has a lot of quality and I think that for a team like Barcelona who keep possession he would fit them very well."
Montoya had nice words for his former side. "I have always said Barcelona are the best club in the world and the truth is any player would like to return to their home, but right now I am extremely content and excited to do things with this team and nobody knows what might happen in the future."
