Marlon Santos regarded as one of Brazilian football's 'Top 10' talents

Marlon Santos - who could be joining Barça B on loan next season - is regarded as one of Brazil's finest young talents and is already in negotiations to join the Blaugrana.

The club are in talks with the 20-year-old's representative, Fred Moraes, to agree a subsidiary loan deal and are closely monitoring his development with Fluminense.

Marlon appears on almost every list of talented Brazilian players, in addition to Gabriel Jesus (Palmeiras), Malcom (Bordeaux), Jorge (Flamengo) and Gabriel (Santos).

He also represented the Verde-Amarelha at the 2015 Under-20 World Cup, losing 2-1 in the final to Serbia. However, last season saw Marlon struggle for game time as Henrique and Gum were both preferred starters for Levir Culpi.

In total, Marlon has played 71 games for the Fluzao but his presence at the Olympic Games in Rio will make a deal complicated to formalise. The Brazilian Olympic coach, Rogerio Micale, will announce the final squad list on June 29.
