Marc Bartra: I'm not leaving Barcelona and I want to play more this year

Marc Bartra went out on Thursday to quash the rumours that he might leave the club for Napoli this summer, reaffirming his commitment to Barcelona. "I'm not listening to offers," said the centre-back. 

Bartra explained that he was concentrating on taking advantage of his chances at Barcelona and convinving the coaches with high quality performances. "My head is focussed 100 per cent on Barcelona," said the player from the cantera, rejecting any chance he could leave the side he has always played for. 

Marc said that his objective was to keep growing as a footballer and had the mission of getting more and more central to the team. "My challenge is to beat the 21 games I started last season," said Bartra, showing he wanted to convince Luis Enrique of his value. 

Bartra has marked his target of having an excellent preseason to show the coach he should be in the starting XI, taking the place of one of Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano. In the short to medium term he's aiming at getting more games.
