Marc-Andre ter Stegen has more successful dribbles than Cristiano Ronaldo
Although it seems unlikely, the German goalkeeper has outdone the Real Madrid forward
FC Barcelona goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, has a better successful dribble count than Cristiano Ronaldo in LaLiga statistics for 2016-17. He is beating the Real Madrid forward 1-0. It's true that the Portuguese forward has only featured in one game, but it is still curious that a goalkeeper has managed more dribbles than a 'crack' like CR7.
Cristiano featured in the 5-2 Madrid win over Osasuna, scoring one goal and attempting two dribbles, both of which failed. His success rate is 0 per cent.
Ter Stegen, meanwhile, has tried one and achieved it, so has 100 per cent success. It was against Athletic at San Mames, as seen in this picture.
And the MSN? Messi has tried 20 dribbles with 60 per cent accuracy (12 completed, 8 failed). Suarez has 7 good ones and 6 bad (53 per cent) and Neymar the same as the Uruguayan.
