As many French players in Barça squad as Brazilians
Kevin Gameiro's impending transfer to Barcelona will see the club's French contingent reach the same amount of players as those from Brazil.
Jeremy Mathieu, Samuel Umtiti, Lucas Digne and now Gameiro will go level with Neymar, Rafinha, Adriano and Douglas Pereira representing the Blaugrana's second largest foreign nationality behind Spanish.
A total of 21 Frenchmen will have worn the Blaugrana shirt in Barça's history after Gameiro's arrival, Eric Abidal, Thierry Henry and Lilian Thuram being the last players to do so.
Gameiro is set to become Barça's fifth summer signing after the arrivals of fellow compatriots Digne and Umtiti as well as Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes.
