Manchester City reach agreement for Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo

Claudio Bravo is set to join Manchester City from Barcelona for 25 million euros.

The deal will be confirmed this week and the 33-year-old is expected to travel to Manchester on Thursday to finalise the move.

Bravo made 73 appearances for Barça in two seasons with the club, winning two La Liga and Copa del Rey titles as well as the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola, who has been in the market for a new goalkeeper after being left unimpressed by Joe Hart, wouldn't comment on Bravo's potential move to City prior to their Champions League play-off first-leg against Steaua Bucharest, but the Catalan has finally secured his desired player and the Chilean will become his ninth summer signing.

Bravo could make his City debut for the second-leg against Steaua on August 24 at the Etihad Stadium.
