Made in Barcelona: Luis Enrique wants one of these three players in January

Luis Enrique is putting pressure on the board to sign one more player, in addition to Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, when the transfer market opens and the club can register new signings again.

He wants a forward that can provide solutions when Neymar, Luis Suarez or Lionel Messi cannot play. During this season, Enrique has already been left without the Brazilian and the Argentine on several occasions.

Therefore, he’s had to play Munir and Sandro, neither of whom have provided the necessary solutions. Both have been reduced to goals in the Copa del Rey, with them unable to take their chances in the league.

Robert Fernandez, since he arrived at the club, has been watching many players - however, Luis Enrique continues to want players formed in house and who are capable of offering immediate performances.

The Barça boss is contemplating three options: Denis Suarez, Nolito and Jonathan Soriano. Under these circumstances, Gerard Deulofeu could be an option, too, but the manager already gave him a chance which he failed to take. For now, the Everton player has been discarded.

Enrique has three players in his head, therefore, although none of them could arrive for free. Barça, for reasons of needing to balance spending, don’t want to sign anyone who is not a loan or a free, which would rule out Denis, Nolito and Soriano.

It’s going to be difficult for Robert Fernandez to respond to the demands of Luis Enrique.
