Lusinho says Juanfran 'should not be able to leave' Depor for Barça

The former Real Madrid player is a candidate to fill the space created by Vidal's injury at Camp Nou

Deportivo La Coruna player Luis Carlos Correia, 'Luisinho', spoke on Wednesday about Barcelona's interest in signing right-back Juanfran Moreno.

His take on the rumours will not go down well with Barça: "[Juanfran] should not be able to leave, it would be a significant loss.

"He shouldn't be allowed to leave because the transfer window closed. He doesn't know anything concrete, either, and is happy here. He already rejected other offers."

Remember that Juanfran is Barcelona's top target to fill the space left by the injury to Aleix Vidal, who will be out for the rest of the season with a dislocated ankle.

Barça have not decided for certain if they will move for a right-back -- as the rules would allow them to do so as it's deemed an emergency -- but the Depor man does top their list of candidates.

Luisinho added: "Juanfran is a really impotant player for us, he's having a good season. If he has to leave, then hopefully it's for his own good, but we know it would be a big loss because he's a vital player for the team."
