Luis Suarez: There are players with better marketing than me
The Uruguayan doesn't give much weight to the individual awards in football
Luis Suarez has given an interview to Diario Ovacion to Uruguay in which he speaks about many things.
First of all, the Ballon d'Or, which was awarded to Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday, and FIFA's The Best: "I prioritise the group and the collective. I don't give these much important and I always say there are players with more marketing than me."
As we come to the end of 2016, Suarez has had a positive year: "On a general level, the balance for the club is positive. We won the league, the Copa del Rey and that's what Barcelona aspires to because it's the most important team, for me, in Spain. But there's also the sensation that we could have won the Champions League.
With respect to his desires for 2017, the Uruguayan has his mind on more success for club and country: "I would like to have a good year, finish it well as a collective, fighting for everything with the club and qualifying directly for the World Cup with Uruguay, something we've not done for a while [haivng had to go through the playoffs]."
