Luis Suarez set for Barça debut against Real Madrid

Luis Suarez's Barcelona debut will come in the first Clasico of the season, with the match set to take place the day after his four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini ends. 

There remains the possibility that the game against Real Madrid could take place on Saturday 25 October instead of Sunday 26, which would see him miss out because of said suspension. 

However the Court of Arbitration for Sport may decide to reduce or remove Suarez's punishment before then, so he may be ale to make his debut earlier.

If not, it is up to the television companies to decide which day the Clasico is played on, but it is hard to imagine that they would choose the Saturday. 

The week before the Clasico sees Champions League fixtures take place, which further increases the likelyhood of the game taking place on Sunday. 

However, Real Madrid have a Copa del Rey game on Wednesday October 29, so may ask for it to be played on the Saturday.

Elsewhere, we could see a similar grandstand finish to last season, where Barcelona played Atletico Madrid on the last day. This time, the Blaugrana travel to the Vicente Calderon in the penultimate week. 

The other Clasico, at the Camp Nou, will take place on either March 21 or 22nd.
