Luis Suarez will play for Barcelona B in a friendly against Indonesia U19s on Wednesday afternoon at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The Uruguayan forward is still banned from competitive football until the end of October, but he is allowed to play in non-competitive fixtures after the Court of Arbitration for Sport overruled FIFA's decision to ban him from "all football-related activity" for his World Cup bite.

Luis Enrique confirmed the former Liverpool player's participation in the game on Tuesday afternoon.

"Suarez will play in the B team friendly," he told press ahead of Barcelona's la Liga match with Malaga on Wednesday night.

"There are many nuances, but we have talked and he wants to play, even though it is for another team.

"He will play the minutes that [Barça B boss] Eusebio decides."

The 27-year-old did make a brief appearance in the pre-season friendly against Club Leon at Camp Nou, while he also played in an inter-club match during the recent international break.

Barça's trip to Real Madrid at the end of October is the first competitive match Suarez eill be available for, so he is desperate for as many minutes as possible over the next month.

The match will be available to watch online with English commentary via Barça TV and it will also be live on Catalan channel Esport 3.
