Suarez: Messi's the best in the world, he shouldn't receive so much criticism

Luis Suarez has become one of Lionel Messi's most staunch defenders.

The Argentine is not just his partner on the pitch, but also one of his best friends within the Barcelona first team squad.

For that reason, he can't stand to see so much criticism being directed at Barça's No.10 in the wake of Argentina's Copa America final defeat to Chile earlier this summer.

The Uruguayan has once again had some words to say on the matter, speaking after a training session in Los Angeles.

"The best player in the world should not receive so much criticism, he's human and not [Leo] nor anyone else likes being on the end of such unfair criticism," Suarez lamented.

On another matter, he expressed his desire for Pedro Rodriguez to syay with the club: "I want Pedro to continue with us, it would be the best thing for Barça."

As for the season Barcelona have in front of them, Suarez is as ambitious as ever.

"I want to win all the titles again this year, I'm not tired of winning," he said.
