Luis Suárez: My first golden shoe had more merit than the second

Luis Suarez told World Soccer that his team-mates at Barcelona made his second golden shoe more easy than his first

FC Barcelona forward Luis Suarez spoke to World Soccer magazine on various topics like Ter Stegen, Arda Turan and his Golden Shoe.

Luis Suarez believes his team-mates at Barcelona made his second golden shoe more easy than his first, obtained at Liverpool.

"Liverpool were not a team fighting for the title, and English football is very hard and competitive. So the first golden shoe has more merit. Here it's tricky too but the other players at Barcelona make it easier."

Regarding Arda Turan he said: "The coach used him in various positions. I understand why because he wasn't comfortable after six months without playing. It's hard to understand your coach, your team-mates. He had a great pre-season and he's helping the team."

Furthermore on Ter Stegen he said: "He's a great goalkeeper but he can commit errors too and we know the errors from the goalkeeper end up being more serious. We should keep supporting him because he has quality with his feet as well as his hands. He's a good example to follow."
