Luis Suarez ends goalless streak with double thanks to Espanyol errors

Luis Suarez took advantage of momentous errors to end his small goal drought

The forward was gifted his brace by Jose Manuel Jurado and Aaron Martin

Luis Suarez broke his run of five games without scoring by netting two against Espanyol in Barcelona's 3-0 win at Cornella.

He needed the help of Los Pericos who gave him both strikes on a plate. Jose Manuel Jurado's suicidal pass back put the Uruguayan in and he beat Diego Lopez with aplomb.

Then at the end Aaron Martin sliced a clearance in front of goal straight to Suarez, who had the simple task of rolling home to complete the derby victory.

Suarez now has 25 goals in La Liga this season and 33 in all competitions, trailing only Messi in the Pichichi chart.
