Luis Suarez to discover bite appeal verdict in August

The Court of Arbitration for Sport has agreed to resolve the Luis Suarez case quickly and during the second week of August we should have the verdict. 

Suarez has appealed over the harshness of his punishment handed out by FIFA after he bit Italian Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.

The player was banned for four months from all football-related activity, including training with his new Barca team-mates and being unveiled as a Blaugrana player. 

Since Suarez has become a Barcelona player, the player has failed to fulfill any administrative procedure, because the club are very keen to avoid a confrontation with FIFA.

It means it is unknown whether or not he has taken a medical with Barca or not.
