Luis Suarez DID NOT bite Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis

Some of the British media have suggested that Luis Suarez tried to bite Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis during Barcelona's 2-1 win on Tuesday night. 

However, watching the video back it is clear the Barça's No.9 did no such thing. 

In fact, what actually happened was City's Argentine defender tried to impede Suarez's route past him as the game ticked towards full-time. 

Suarez scored two goals in the first half to put him Barça in a commanding position heading into the second leg at Camp Nou in March. 

While playing in England he bit Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic and was then banned from football for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup. 

But on this occasion, there was no biting going on.
