Luis Enrique's seven kids at Barcelona

Luis Enrique's seven kids at Barcelona

Luis Enrique afronts the 2014-15 campaign with the advantage of having a lot of players in his squad who are used to working under him.

The 'seven of Lucho', as Barcelona explained on their own website, are Gerard Deulofeu, Rafinha Alcantara, Jordi Masip, Pedro Rodriguez, Sergi Roberto, Martin Montoya and Marc Bartra.

Here is a little bit about each of the players' relationship with their manager.

Gerard Deulofeu: Luis Enrique likes the character, power and speed of Deulofeu. When he was 16, in March 2011, the Asturian gave the player his Barça B debut against Cordoba.

Rafinha Alcantara: Debuted under Enrique at the Mini Estadi against Girona and also worked under him during his loan with Celta Vigo last season. Rafinha was one of the four players who played the most minutes for the Galician club: 32 games and four goals.

Jordi Masip: Was Lucho's goalkeeper when he was the manager of Barça B - he made his debut against Valencia Mestalla in December 2009. From there he played for five full seasons with Barça B, first under Enrique and later under Eusebio.

Pedro Rodriguez: During Enrique's first season in charge of Barça B (2008-09), Pedro was between the first team and the second team. He played 27 games for the latter and 14 for the former.

Sergi Roberto: Made his debut in 2009-10, called up by Luis Enrique and going on to form a key part of the Barça B side.

Marc Bartra: Also debuting in 2009-10, Marc Bartra's first chance came under Enrique. In that same season, Josep Guardiola liked what he saw and gave Bartra his first team debut in February 2010.

Martin Montoya: One of the first players of Enrique's Barça B to progress to the first team. In 2009-10 he alternated between Juvenil A and Barça B, and by the end of the next season he had played 51 games for the the Blaugrana's second string. That same year he debuted for the first team.
