Luis Enrique's punishment of Gerard Pique may end against Sevilla

Luis Enrique's punishment of Gerard Pique was not just because he was playing with his phone while sat on the bench during the Catalan Supercup final, nor for his fight with the Guardia Urbana, but for an accumulation of events showing an unprofessional attitude. 

In fact, Luis Enrique was annoyed that the star was out at three in the morning enjoying the nightlife in Barcelona even before it ended with him remonstrating with the police over bad parking. 

The Asturian coach has no doubt that Pique is the best centre-back in the squad. 

In principle the punishment should have ended, but although Enrique has not said anything to the player, he seems set to return for the game against Sevilla, teaming up almost certainly with Jeremy Mathieu. 

But we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
