Luis Enrique Martinez published his squad list for Barcelona’s trip to the Vicente Calderon to face Atletico Madrid. Neither Arda Turan or Javier Mascherano was able to make the game which could have a big impact on the title race.
The Barcelona coach was, however, able to include Sergio Busquets, after he missed the game against Leganes through suspension.
Aleix Vidal is also out of contention with his long-term ankle injury, while Jordi Masip didn’t make the cut.
Barcelona are planning to fly on Saturday night from El Prat airport to Madrid Barajas and spend the night in the Hotel Eurostars Madrid Tower, biding their time there until the clash on Sunday, 4.15pm CET.
The squad list is: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Rafinha, Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Umtiti and Mathieu.
