Luis Enrique on the behaviour of Claudio Bravo and Ter Stegen

Luis Enrique spoke about the relationship between Claudio Bravo, who has now left for Manchester City, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

There was a rivalry between the two but the Asturian coach claims they behaved perfectly.

When asked about Bravo leaving, he said: "Now I can talk about it, I just had to wait for it to be official. It doesn’t make sense to say anything before these operations are closed.

"For Bravo to go, we have to be able to bring in a goalkeeper. I’d like to say Claudio’s work here has been incredible, professional, he’s a unique person who brought a lot to the team at a moment when the goalkeeping situation, after Victor Valdes left, was in doubt.

"I’d also like to say, in first person, that all three goalkeepers have behaved excellently on a daily basis. Their behaviour has been an example, as I expect now [with Jasper Cillessen arriving].

"The most important thing is sporting success. When players sign they do so to win titles. The goalkeeping [changes] has only been successful due to the players’ behaviour, if there hadn’t been harmony it would have been impossible."
