Luis Enrique says Andres Iniesta is raring to go after injury

Luis Enrique says that Andres Iniesta is ready to play again after his injury lay-off.

The Barcelona coach has been without his midfield maestro and captain since he went off on a stretcher against Valencia on October 22 at Mestalla.

Lucho admitted he would have given Iniesta some game time against Hercules in the Copa del Rey if the Spaniard was not suspended.

“Andres is waiting for medical clearance, which is more of a formality really, he’s training with us, in great condition,” explained the coach at his press conference before the game.

“Can’t play tomorrow because he’s suspended, but he would have had minutes otherwise. He's available [for the Clasico clash with Real Madrid].”

Furthermore, Aleix Vidal is also available to play in the Copa del Rey game after being given time off to get married.

“Aleix Vidal is available, yes,” added Luis Enrique. “He was training today but I don’t think I want to make public anything that I spoke about with my players.”
