Luis Enrique reaches his 50th game with the best victory record

Luis Enrique reaches his 50th game as Barcelona manager on Tuesday against PSG in the Champions League, with spectacular statistics. He has the chance to win the treble in his first season, with 11 games to go.

So far, Barcelona have won 25 games in the league, eight in the Champions League and eight in the Copa del Rey.

That's 41 wins in 49 games so far (83.67%), which has seen them reach the final of the Copa, lead La Liga and put one foot into the semi-finals of the Champions League.

They have also been beaten five times, four in La Liga and one in the Champions.

If we take the 2008-09 season as a reference point, the first of Pep Guardiola and one in which he won the treble, the team finished with 43 wins in 64 games (67.18%) with six draws and five defeats in the league and five draws and one defeat in the Champions League. This did not stop the birth of "Team Pep", and the side from that era is remembered as on playing spectacular, winning football.

In the 2012-13 season, in which Tito Vilanova was in charge, Barcelona played 60 games in the league, CL, Copa and Supercopa. Barcelona won 42 times (71.1%) drawing nine and losing eight. They won the league, equalling the record of 100 points.

In the 2013-14 season, with Tata Martino at the helm, they won 40 times in 59 games (70%), with 11 draws and seven defeats. The only thing they won was the Spanish Supercup.

Important games

It's evident that the games left for Barcelona to play will serve verdict on the first season of Luis Enrique, by deciding the three titles. There are six games in La Liga, there is the final of the Copa del Rey, and four possible Champions League fixtures, which could change his percentages.

While the debate about the transformation of Barcelona's style of play continues, with many people indicating the tough time the side had in their 2-0 win over Valencia, the results seem to be carrying Lucho on a path to success.
